2-tank systems (lower and upper tank), switch on AUTO:
For this application all sensor connections will be used. The pump will be switched off if the fill level in the lower tank falls below low level. It will be switched on again if the high level is reached or overrun in the lower tank or the fill level of the upper tank falls below low level. If the high level of the upper tank is reached, the pump will be switched off as well to avoid an overflowing. The sensor for low level in the lower tank has to be lain higher than the opening of the induction pipe to avoid a dryness of the pump.

1-tank-system (only upper tank), switch on AUTO:
For this application the connections UL (25,24) and UH (23,22) has to be shorted-circuit. If the fill level in the upper tank falls below the low level the pump will be switched off; if the high level is reached the pump will be switched on again.

1-tank-system (only lower tank), switch on AUTO:
For this application the connections OL (19,18) and OH (17,16) may not be connected, i.e. they stay open. If the fill level in the lower tank falls below the low level the pump will be switched off and switched on if the high level is reached.

Manual operation, switch on MAN:
Pump off:
low level of the lower tank is undershooted or high level of the upper tank is reached
Pump on:
low level of the lower tank is reached or undershooted and high level of the lower tank is not reached yet

Abbreviations:
OH: upper tank high level
OL: upper tank low level
UH: lower tank high level
UL: lower tank low level

Only upper tank:
UL (25,24) to short-circuit
UH (23,22) to short-circuit

Only lower tank:
OL (19,18) not connected
OH (17,16) not connected
